Where I'm At:
Since graduation, I’ve decided to hit the pause button on the traditional track. College might be the next step, but right now, I'm fully immersed in the real-world curriculum. This page is my personal journal—a place to track the travel, the learning, and the slow, hilarious process of adulting.
Last Update: October 2025
16 Days, 10 Destinations: My First Princess Cruise
As a combined graduation and 19th birthday gift, my Tio Spencer and I took off on a major adventure: my very first cruise! We started in Fort Lauderdale, FL and spent 16 days on the Enchanted Princess exploring the Caribbean and eventually landing in New York City.
The North American Leg
After landing in New York, the travel didn't stop. We flew down to Myrtle Beach to meet up with my Tio Moe and Grandpa for a classic family vacation. I’ve caught the travel bug and am actively looking for the next adventure!
The Real Education: Financial Freedom
I haven't officially landed a job yet, but I'm currently enrolled in the most important class of all: Adulting 101.
Current Focus Areas:
Budget Management: Learning to track my spending and make my money work harder.
Bill Pay & Groceries: Mastering the logistics of independent living.
Investment Portfolio: Actively learning about the stock market and managing my portfolio with Tio Spencer.
Why Investing?
Investing is everything. I have no interest in trading 50 years of my life for a two-week retirement. The goal is to put my money to work now—leveraging the compounding effect so that I can benefit from passive income and true financial freedom much sooner. Knowing my money is growing, even while I'm traveling or chilling at home, is a game-changer.
What's Next?
The future is unwritten, and that’s the exciting part. I'll be updating this site as my gap year evolves, whether I find a new destination, start a new learning project, or finally decide on college.
Stay tuned!
